On April 17-19, Nores Day was held at Storefjell Resort Hotel to the great delight of both members and suppliers. Around 550 people attended, drawing inspiration from exciting speakers, watching news from the vendors, enjoying great food and drink, industry talk, awards ceremony and top entertainment with Dagny and Freddy Kalas. Some of the highlights during tonight's gala dinner were, of course, the awards ceremony to this year's winners.
Bama Storjøkken was named “Food Supplier of the Year”, Vinhuset became “Beverage Supplier of the Year”, Culina received the award as “Nonfood Supplier of the Year” and the award for “Member of the Year” went to Hotel Wassilioff. The service wholesalers together with TL Måkestad got away with the win “Best condition 2023”, which the members themselves could vote on during the fair. Congratulations to you all!
There was great joy and amused reactions to track among the winners.
It is the members of Nores who vote for Suppliers of the Year in the various categories through a member survey, and about Food Supplier of the Year they say; Bama Storkøkken delivers quality at all stages, through their products, delivery, development, expertise, knowledge sharing, communication and service. The staff are pleasant, always available and passionate about their field of expertise. Sustainability is being worked very actively, which is noticeable, among other things, in their exciting innovation and product development. Here they save fruits and vegetables that would otherwise become food waste.“We are both grateful and proud to win the award as Nores Food Supplier of the Year. This is a real pat on the shoulder to the entire Bama Grand Kitchen for the work we put in every day. Thank you very much to everyone who voted for us, and this will be marked on all our 10 wards from Kristiansand in the south to Tromsø in the north, says Kam at Bama Storjøkken, Lasse Johannessen.
The other nominees were: TL Seagull and Wholesale Fruit
Vinhuset Beverage Supplier of the Year is known for its very high service at all levels and its good mood. They are always helpful and solution-oriented and deliver stably and reliably throughout the year. The Nores members put it short and well; Vinhuset delivers world-class service.
“It is with great humility that we receive the award for beverage supplier of the year 2022. We are in sharp competition with the other nominees, as well as all the other suppliers who work hard every day to give their best to Nores members. The winery's goal is to deliver - beverages with service. Then it is extra amazing that the people who nominate and vote for us are the ones we meet every day in our work. The award is high for us and is a great inspiration in our further work to deliver “beverages with service” — thank you very much from all of us at Vinhuset, says marketing manager at Vinhuset, Vidar Klausen.
The other nominees were: The wine group and Hansa Borg Brewery.
Culina Nonfood Supplier of the Year is passionate about innovation, design and functionality, and works hard to offer what the members of Nores demand. They are also keen to innovate on social responsibility, the environment and quality and to deliver good standards in these areas as well. The customer service and sales apparatus provide excellent service, are prompt, knowledgeable and always follow up to find good alternatives. The Nonfood Supplier of the Year receives very good feedback from the members of Nores and scores highly on customer satisfaction.
“The Culina chain, with our 11 dealers, is very appreciative of the fact that its members have voted for us and who clearly appreciate the work we do. In addition to the service provided by Culina dealers, a fantastic job is done by the team working in the warehouse ensuring that our customers receive the right goods and fast delivery. As a happy winner of Nore's Supplier Award, it gives us at Culina an added motivation to continue to evolve to become even better supplier, says sales manager chain customers in Culina, Pål Byhring-Enger.
The other nominees were: Myhrvold Storjøkken og Norengros.
On Noresdagen, there were 78 vendors who had a stand, and Nores' members could vote for “Best Stand” via an app. The suppliers had put a lot of work, creativity and soul into the stands, and it was Servicegrossistene together with TL Måkestad who got away with the win.
“TL Måkestad and Servicegrossistene are very proud to have been voted the best stand of the year. A big thank you to all NORES members who voted for us and helped create a good atmosphere during the fair, says Ronny Skoglund, sales manager national chains in Service wholesalers.
The other nominees were: Combination stand with Lerøy/Hansa/Solera/Vinestor and the stand of Asko.
Many thanks to everyone who participated and helped make the Nores Days at Storefjell a success. We are already looking forward to next year!
