Nores and our members are continuously working on our sustainability work. We require all our suppliers and any subcontractors to have an active environmental profile.

Nores and our members are continuously working on our sustainability work. We require all our suppliers and any subcontractors to have an active environmental profile. Nore's environmental profile includes ongoing work to reduce waste, air pollution, energy consumption and water consumption. Nore's office is certified with the Environmental Lighthouse.

Supplier requirements

The supplier shall organise and operate its activities in such a way as to satisfy existing and future national and/or international environmental requirements. The supplier shall, upon request, provide documentation on the environmental work of the business. All goods must be labelled in accordance with Swedish and international environmental regulations.

The supplier must also be a member of the FTI return scheme.

Food waste

Every fourth bag of food is thrown away unnecessarily. Nores has a partnership with Generation Waste, which helps restaurants reduce waste, save honey and improve profitability.

COOPERATION

Solvatten

Solvand is a Swedish innovation that holds 10 liters of water, heats and cleans it with sunlight. Since 2012, suppliers in Nores have helped distribute Solar Water to people living without clean water. To date, the collaboration has helped over 50,000 people for years to come.
